Steven Horenstein
Steven has been in the health care field for over 35 years.  Steven is a graduate of UConn and earned a Master Degree in Organizational Behavior from The Barney School of Business. He served as President of the Connecticut Society for Respiratory Therapy and was Chief of Respiratory Therapy at Mount Sinai Hospital just prior to establishing Help at Home.   As the President of Help at Home, Steven has spent over 25 years working with Case Managers and Elder Care specialists to help Seniors remain safe and independent in their own homes as long as possible.   His goal is to provide every client with a caregiver that is matched by personality and compatibility.




Arlene Horenstein
Arlene comes from a business background, having earned a Bachelor of Science Degree from UMASS.  She spent many years in customer service oriented fields like restaurant and retail management.  For more than 25 years, Arlene has been working as the Vice President of Help at Home  She spends time working with the  Alzheimer Society, MS Society and other organizations involved in promoting quality of life issues for the elderly and disabled.  Arlene works on community outreach, helping people review their options, both one on one or at conferences like The Senior Transitions Expo.  Her goal is to make the client, and the client’s family, completely comfortable with the care being provided and to help them take advantage of any and all programs available.
